The regional summit convened by the President of the Republic of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, with the interest of intervening in the internal affairs of Venezuela, is a failure, as criticized by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who detailed that the plan that the Panamanian leads is directed from the United States.
When the subject was referred to by the RT network, the national President recalled that at the time of Mulino’s inauguration, he extended a message of invitation to resume relations between the Isthmus country and Venezuela. However, the intervention of the United States changed the political panorama:
«But a small detail, the military chief of the empire visited him. General Laura Richardson arrived, she met with him, in the photos that came out he had a scared face. The president of Panama. And after he left that meeting he was (as we call in Venezuela) in a rage, and called for a summit of Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama. (and then) Latin America and the Caribbean unanimously told him: Who are you, compadre? You made a mistake, you do not have the authority to call for a summit of Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama. Latin America and the Caribbean unanimously told him: Who are you, compadre? You made a mistake. You do not have the authority to call for a summit, you failed,” revealed the head of state.
Maduro recalled that the newly elected president of Panama failed because he allowed himself to be led by the North American government, and stated: “It is very unfortunate that he started off on the wrong foot, and I only say to the president of Panama: I will try to learn your name, but whoever messes with Venezuela dries up.”
When putting into context the circumstances that brought Mulino to political power, President Maduro said: “You have a pressure cooker in Panama, you were elected by a very small sector of the Panamanian right wong. (Dedicate to) govern Panama. Do not try to govern Venezuela,” while at the same time calling on him to rectify his interventionist behavior.
In this order, President Maduro responded to the media that awaited his exit from the Supreme Court of Justice, where he appeared before the Electoral Chamber to answer the summoning on the electoral contentious appeal filed by him before the highest court, and expressed that in the international context Venezuela is already part of the new world, of a multipolar world:
“We are pointing everything towards that, our economy, our communications, our telecommunications, our diplomacy. There is a new world that has born. The old imperial world of the West is reluctant to accept the new world. And so it believes that Venezuela is its opportunity to recolonize us. (But) It is very wrong. They already had the Lima group, they had Guaidó for four years, now they want to put in a Guaidó part two and the whole Venezuela rejects it, the entire world rejects that they want to make coward González Urrutia into a self-proclaimed Guaidó part two and you will see, in the course of these months and the years to come that simply truth, peace, justice, tranquility will prevail in Venezuela”.
