The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole, Nicolás Maduro, arrived this Saturday in Maturín, Monagas state, where he was welcomed with joy and to the rhythm of the “El Celular” song those present danced, led by the candidate and the first Combatant woman, Cilia Flores.
“Go on, go on, Niko, go on, go on friend, you don’t walk alone because the people are with you”; and in a festive atmosphere, the candidate invited the people to vote this July 28:
“I come to ask for the vote of the brave and patriotic people of Monagas,” I count on your blessings,” he said.
He called on the people to prepare to vote and guarantee peace, before, during and after July 28, and assured that after the triumph of July 28 “a time of prosperity and peace will open to grow towards a powerful Venezuela.”
“They threaten to taint this process. From now on they want to sing fraud, they (the opposition) know the truth, the street knows the truth, the people knows the truth. We are winning and winning well, with the noble people, they know it, the gringos know it and they want to tarnish the country and the electoral process,” he stressed.
He emphasized that Venezuela is heading towards a new democracy, “which is that of the neighbor man, the neighbor woman, the community and that of four elections per year.”
