The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, condemned the comments published by the fascist right wing and its followers regarding the tragedy that occurred in Sucre after the passage of Hurricane Berly through the Caribbean Sea and the accident suffered by the vice president. Executive of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez:
“The hate is outrageous, the comments made by those right wing fascists are outrageous, and we are serving people in need and these people with those comments do nothing, they are not there. They believe that hate is going to take them somewhere,” he said after verifying several comments made by users on social networks, which he described as hate crimes.
President Maduro pointed out that if fascism takes political power again in Venezuela he would take revenge on anyone who thought differently.
Despite these comments, the head of state maintains his position of giving love and protection to the people of Venezuela. “Cumanacoa we are always with you, at all times and in all the surrounding towns of the entire mountain municipality.”
In this sense, the national leader recalled the 1999 trough, the most devastating that occurred in the country and attended to by Commander Chávez. “We learned when the tragedy of the then Vargas, today La Guaira state, when extreme situations like these come, just as we saw in Tejerías, in Tovar in 2022, support is activated for all those affected and we are prepared for the contingency”.
