President Maduro reaffirms that those involved in the Citgo robbery will be imprisoned

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in the “Con Maduro+” program, emphasized that there will be jail for all those involved and promoters of the theft of the Venezuelan Oil Corporation (CITGO): “There has to be jail, justice, we have to defend what is ours, defend basic companies and continue recovering the economic development of the country.”

The head of state denounced that in the coming weeks the Venezuelan right wing, in complicity with the US government, intends to steal Citgo from Venezuela: “Behind the maneuver are the interests of Juan Guáido, Leopoldo López, Machado, Capriles (…) Venezuela has denounced it.”

In this sense, the national leader expressed that the Venezuelan extreme right wing wants to eliminate the eighth star of the Venezuelan flag, which represents Guayana Esequiba: “There the surnames announced that they want to eliminate the eighth star that represents Guyana. This eighth star was decreed by Bolívar, it is a lack of respect for the people of Venezuela, so on July 28 we will also be defending our sacred flag.”

On the other hand, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez reaffirmed that the national right wing took a definitive step in the judicial auction of Citgo by orders of the United States. “The Venezuelan people are not going to allow and will be relentless in the justice of those who have participated in this scam and this fraud.”
