President Maduro witnessed war maneuvers in El Pao, Cojedes state

The Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro Moros, inspected this Friday the Field Period exercises and Campaign maneuvers “The Essequibo Is Ours”, from the General in Chief José Laurencio Silva military training center, located in the El Pao sector, in Cojedes state:

“We came to see these exercises, which have been advancing for several days and updating the combative capacity of a FANB that has guaranteed peace, independence, territorial integrity and is prepared for any scenario, to conquer again on the path of peace, territorial integrity and through civil-military union,” said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to the cadets of the country’s 12 military academies.

The head of state, accompanied by senior military officers, received reports on this campaign, in which cadets from the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela participate. These maneuvers are carried out annually, and regarding 2024, they will extend until next May 12, with the participation of 3,390 cadets, of which 2,617 are male and 773 are female, in total there are 4,374 combatants among cadets and FANB officers.

Subsequently, he gathered at the command post to continue the presidential activity, and from where he observed the deployment of military units in the countryside of Cojedes state.

By highlighting the presence of more than 4,300 men and women in arms, young people who are trained in the Bolivarian doctrine and who participate in the exercise in the Venezuelan Essequibo, the National President positively valued that the majority are cadets from the military academies, ahd therefore expressed his pride in that patriotic spirit, commitment, discipline and dedication, as well as the physical and intellectual capacity.
