Within the framework of the meeting with Christian pastors of the country, held in the Historic Center of Puerto Cabello, in Carabobo, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved a series of proposals that will benefit the sector.

Following, know the announcements approved by the President:

1.- Was decreed the month of May as the month of the Christian family and May 15 as Family Day.

2.- Was approved the holding, in the month of December, of a rally, “Word of gratitude for God’s blessing for 2024, which will be a good year of peace, peace for our Country, prosperity and recovery of well-being and equality, to care for the afflicted, the one who suffers, the one who cries, the one who cries out, the one who needs,” he noted.

3.- Special plan to reduce “bureaucratic obstacles” before the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, specifically in the direction of religious affairs for legal purposes.

4.- Substitution of fees by the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (SAREN) for the constitution of a church, “To reduce the value of the fees by virtue of them being currently valued as companies and commercial establishments.”

5.- To grant legal identity through the Law of Worship, “adapted to the reality of Venezuela.”

6.- The approval of an agreement with mayors and governors that allows reducing the collection of state and municipal taxes. “The churches are there to help the people and we are there to help the churches,” he said.

Finally, he expressed his desire “to have -very soon- a meeting with a work team of pastors, apostles, bishops, so that we can meet in a meeting that I call Prayer, Reflection, Action, so that we can see the future of Venezuela, receive advice from you, so that we see ourselves in the mirror of Christ the Redeemer and thus enrich my being, my thought, my mind, my soul with you,” concluded the Dignitary.
