President Maduro launched a great mission to serve 5,300,000 young people

Under the motto “Dream it, create it, live it”, the deployment of the “Gran Misión Venezuela Joven” (Great Mission Young Venezuela) begins this Friday to serve – in the first stage – 5,300,000 young people, enrolled in the Patria System, through seven vertices and 26 integral action programs:

We are going to protect and accompany the Venezuelan youth. It is the most ambitious, powerful program that has ever been carried out in Venezuela, a new generation mission to renew and improve what can be improved,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the context of the “Expo Feria 25 años de Patria” (Expo Fair 25 years of Homeland), which will be open to the public until Tuesday, February 6 in the parking lot of the Poliedro de Caracas, located in La Rinconada.

Regarding the activation of the Great Mission Young Venezuela that will be convened “without any type of sectarianism”, he explained that – in the coming days – the swearing-in of the national teams will begin in the 335 municipalities of the national territory.

Following, learn what the seven vertices of the Great Mission Young Venezuela are:

1.- Education, science and technology: Let’s go learn!

Scientific hotbeds:

New school. Destined to generate a transformation in knowledge and learning from the creation of the National School of Gastronomy, the National School of Fashion, the National School of Languages and the School of Digital Trades, the latter will prioritize training in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and content creation.

In this regard, the Venezuelan President set the goal of creating 3,000 technology and robotics centers in high schools and universities.

INCES Young. It begins with the objective of recruiting 900,000 young people to incorporate them into 183 productive training plans.

Scientific Olympiads:

Get Graduated Plan. Aimed at the completion of youth studies at all levels of education (basic, secondary-diversified and university) to promote their insertion into the labor field.

2.- Production, work and entrepreneurship: Let’s get to work!

The “Emprender Juntos” platform will open a new portfolio dedicated to youth with a goal of serving – in the first half of 2024 – 500,000 young people.

Sowing: Prioritizes production in the field, the delivery of land, equipment and supplies and seeds for 100,000 young people in the first stage of the Great Mission Young Venezuela.

National Internship System: Its fundamental purpose is the activation of Job Fairs every six months, as well as a Permanent Fair – online channels – so that public organizations and institutions or private companies can recruit talents according to the economic sector they perform.

3.- Culture, recreation and party: Let’s have fun!

Art in patios and platforms. Designed as points to promote culture and entrepreneurship from the communities, in turn generating a powerful fabric in the 335 municipalities of the country. The initial goal is set at 500 platforms.

Mostacho Fest: It includes a schedule of cultural activities (musical, theatrical and dance) to be held on holiday dates. Festivals of singing, dancing and performing arts are expected to be held in each community.

Gamer Arena: It will be an annual event that will bring together young people with aptitudes for video games in order to attract new talents who, among others, contribute to video game design in the national territory.

Cinema Club: In addition to being a space for the collective enjoyment of cinema, it is also aimed at training youth in areas related to cinematography.

It proposes the activation of tourist packages to promote friendly tourism, as well as camping with a vision of respect for nature.

4.- Health, physical activity and sport: Let’s take care of ourselves!

I am healthy: It includes the monthly deployment of comprehensive approaches to promote comprehensive health, including nutrition based on the 4S scheme (healthy, safe, tasty and sovereign) and the prevention of addictions.

Always together: Aimed at creating 335 friendship groups in the national territory to accompany those experiencing mental health problems.

Let’s take care of ourselves: It is a call to the conscience of youth in order to promote responsible sexual and reproductive education. In this sense, it also prioritizes plans aimed at reducing teenage pregnancies, as well as sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

National Sports System: It is intended to promote sports practice, as well as the recruitment of talents through the “Abre Cancha” plan, which also includes the promotion of the care of sports facilities in the communities.

5.- Project of Life and social protection: Let’s grow!

Housing guarantee for Venezuelan youth. On this point, President Nicolás Maduro approved allocating 200,000 homes to young couples, of which 60,000 will be of self-construction. Likewise, he contemplates the delivery of 75,000 credits for construction and the activation of a real estate policy to facilitate the rental – at reasonable prices – of 50,000 homes.

Lucash Program: It projects financing, as well as the adoption of digital wallet mechanisms and the democratization of credit.

6.- Communication and social networks: Let’s communicate!

Creation of the School of Content Creators and Influencers.

Activation of the Creative Uproar Movement for the training of young people in audiovisual arts (editing and narrative).

Video Festival: Its objective is to attract young talents who create audiovisual pieces through their mobile devices. Skills will be acknowledged and rewarded in each edition.

7.- Organization and participation: Let’s participate!

Youth Zone: It is a physical space to support young people where culture will be generated (recording, music and dance studios) and circuits will be promoted in fields, theaters and public spaces to promote encounters through education and culture.

Country Incubator: A platform that will allow the application of projects that generate innovative solutions to critical nodes. In the first stage, it will have two editions in the months of March and August.

National Volunteer Movement: Oriented towards the promotion of social work according to the area of interest of those involved.

In order to guarantee the successful start of the 26 programs of the Great Mission Young Venezuela, the Head of State called for organizational sessions with an inclusive and unitary nature until next March 12.
