The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through the X social network, ratified his commitment to make of Humanity a community with a shared destiny, a message he gave in relation to the Summit of the Group of 77 + China, an appointment that took place this Friday in Havana, capital of Cuba.
Likewise, the head of state assured that union is a need for the people who work to build bridges of cooperation, in order to advance development. “In the G77 + China we assume the task of facing new challenges.”
The spokesperson for the Asian giant’s Chancellory on the Caribbean island, Mao Ning, expressed her hope that this event will lead to greater solidarity, closer cooperation and a joint response to challenges among developing countries.
Likewise, she stressed that the G77 + China is a collaborative mechanism that safeguards international equity and defends the common interests of its members.
It is worth noting that Cuba convened from the Havana Convention Palace the Summit of Heads of State and Government on September 15 and 16, under the theme “Current development challenges. Role of science, technology and innovation,” as refers the Prensa Latina web portal.
