Executive appreciates support of Fedecámaras and entrepreneurs in ZEE development

The constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, thanked the presence and support of the main director of Fedecámaras (Federation of Commerce Chambers) and other businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of national and international productive associations, at the ceremony for the creation of the new Special Economic Zones (ZEE) decreed, and asked everyone to push as a single force, this initiative that seeks to enhance the economic recovery of the country:

“It’s time, it’s time, here is the legal framework and the real potential to diversify the economy,” summed up the national president from Miraflores Palace, where representatives and presidents of several important economic organizations from Venezuela and the world appeared, including: the president of Fedecámaras, Adán Celis; of Fedeindustria, Orlando Camacho; of Conindustria, Luigi Pisella; of the Venezuelan Chamber of Food Industries (Cavidea), Juvenal Arbeláez and the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber, Alberto Russián, among others.

“We have an economic model that is absolutely relevant to the idiosyncrasy of Venezuela, with Venezuela’s resources, with plans, with teams, and we have been cultivating a powerful alliance with the productive sectors of the country,” he highlighted about this productive unit of the new national economic era.

In the ceremony, with the presence, in addition, of the diplomatic corps accredited in Venezuela, regional leaders, mayors of some municipalities, as well as deputies of the National Assembly (AN) who drafted the Organic Law of Special Economic Zones, the Head of State guaranteed that the unitary effort will allow progress “in the construction of a new model to perfectly integrate the economic, productive, and technological capacities of the different regions of the country.”
