A total of 42 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, all community transmission cases, located mostly in Zulia (14), Yaracuy (7), Sucre (7), Caracas (6) and Carabobo (3) states, to sum a total of 550,716 confirmed accumulated cases to this day.
This was announced this Friday by the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñañez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.
On day 1,027 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,832 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 543,936 and there are 948 current active cases.
