COVID: Venezuela registered 62 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 62 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 39 are community cases and 27 cases are imported from the Dominican Republic (5), Spain (3), Panama (12), Türkiye (4) and Cuba (3), for a total of 547,697 confirmed cases to date.

This was announced this Friday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

Community cases are located mainly in the states: Caracas (13), Zulia (9), Bolívar (7), Miranda (4) and Yaracuy (2).

On day 992 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,829 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,781 and there are 1,087 current active cases.
