President Maduro swore in a new board of directors of the Federation of Middle Education Students of Venezuela

From the people’s balcony in the Miraflores Palace, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, accompanied by the first combatant woman, Cilia Flores, welcomed the massive student march carried out by young Venezuelans, in order to commemorate the Venezuelan Student Day:

“A year ago, I said that, starting in 2022, November 21 remains as the day of all students, the Venezuelan students, Venezuelans fighting in Battle and in Victory,” said the Venezuelan president at the time of starting the reception of the students who were stationed in the vicinity of the presidential palace.

At the beginning of the event, the head of state welcomed the members of the Continental Latin American and Caribbean Student Organization (OCLAE), made up of representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, as well as the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic as a special guest.

President Maduro mentioned the nomination process for student spokespersons of the Federation of Middle Education Students of Venezuela, in the same way he announced and swore in the new Board of Directors, to build an educational, scientific, humanistic, revolutionary, inclusive and help in the construction of the Great Socialist Homeland and the Empowered Venezuela.
