COVID: Venezuela registered 96 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 96 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 37 are community cases and 59 cases came from the Dominican Republic (8), Spain (3), Panama (30), Türkiye (16) and Cuba. (2), for a total of 546,733 cases to date.

This was announced this Friday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Zulia (6), Miranda (5), Carabobo (4), Falcón (3) and Yaracuy (3), among others.

On day 978 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,825 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,160 and there are 748 current active cases.
