COVID: Venezuela registered 45 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 45 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 12 are community cases and 33 cases came from Spain (13), Panama (13), the Dominican Republic (2), Türkiye (2) and Portugal. (2), for a total of 546,534 cases up to date.

This was announced this Wednesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Caracas (5), Yaracuy (3), Miranda (2) and Delta Amacuro (2).

On day 976 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,825 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,025 and there are 684 current active cases.
