Day 951| Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 70 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 70 new COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 58 cases are community and 12 are imported, which brings the total confirmed to 545,593 cases, with 757 active cases, while the number of recovered is located in 539,016 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian government.

This was announced this Saturday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

She reported that the community cases are located in the states: Caracas (19), Miranda (14), Zulia (10) and Yaracuy (5), among others.

Caracas today presents the highest number of infections in 9 of its 22 parishes: Sucre (5), Altagracia (3), El Paraíso (2), El Recreo (2), among others.

Likewise, she reported that three imported cases entered the country from: Panama (10), Dominican Republic(1), and Spain (1).

In week 136 and day 951 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

Total infections: 545,593

Recovered patients: 539,016 (99%).

Current active cases: 757.

Total deceased: 5,820
