The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects the arbitrary decision of the United States of America (USA), in relation to the judicial sale of the shares of the Citgo Petroleum state company, belonging to PDV Holding, a company owned by Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA).
According to the statement issued by the Ali Rodríguez Araque Presidential Commission (formed by President Nicolás Maduro to consolidate the Venezuelan oil industry), against the illegal order issued by the judge of the US District of Delaware, Leonard Stark, which establishes a set of procedures for an alleged judicial sale of the shares of Citgo Petroleum.
For this reason, in the letter, «the Venezuelan State categorically rejects this reckless decision, vitiated by arbitrariness and veiled by bias by the judge who dictates it, who, aligned with the Crystallex International Corp company (Crystallex), is part of the framework international, which responds to the hegemonic and imperial power of the United States of America, thus deepening its multiform war and its intention of brazen and indiscriminate plundering of the assets of the Venezuelan people.
