COVID: Venezuela registered 116 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 116 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which 6 come from Cuba (4) and Panama (2) to sum 542,397 as the confirmed accumulated total of cases.

Most of the contagions of the day are located in the states Miranda (39), Yaracuy (18), Zulia (18), Caracas (11) and Bolívar (7), among others.

This was announced this Tuesday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

On day 898 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,796 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 534,821 and there are 1,780 current active cases.
