COVID: Venezuela registered 200 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 200 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 540,442 cases.

The cases of the day are located in the states Amazonas (68), Miranda (46), Caracas (26), Guárico (19), Aragua (15), Yaracuy (11), Nueva Esparta (4), Mérida (3), Falcón (3), Portuguesa (1), Sucre (1), La Guaira (1), Bolívar (1) and Lara (1).

This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 883 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,778 as the total number of decease. The number of recovered patients is 531,249 and there are 3,395 current active cases.
