Venezuela praises livestock as a way to combat hunger and poverty

The permanent representation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela before the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) stressed that livestock is vital to achieve the food sovereignty of the peoples and to eradicate poverty.

During the 28th Period of Sessions of the FAO Committee on Agriculture (COAG), the Embassy of Venezuela on its @embavenefao account on the Twitter social network, indicated that “livestock is a very important area to achieve food sovereignty, to eradicate hunger and poverty”.

It was also added that this productive sector contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
