The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Faría, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Li Baorong, in order to continue strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has ratified on different occasions that relations between Venezuela and China are sustained under respect, solidarity and recognition of their potential.
On June 28, 48 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries were commemorated. Amidst this celebration, the Asian ambassador stressed that the Chinese-Venezuelan bilateral relationship is at the best moment in history, and thus he thanked the effort made by the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez.
