With our tour of Turkey, Algeria and Iran we have consolidated deep friendship as brother peoples, concretizing agreements and great achievements that translate into shared well-being. Let’s go for more, the work agenda continues. Be on alert!”

This week, President Nicolás Maduro began the Eurasian Tour in Turkey, marked by the signing of three important cooperation agreements in the agricultural, financial and tourism areas together with his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In the second stop of the official tour of Eurasian countries, the Venezuelan president visited Algeria where, accompanied by Algerian President Abdelmayid Tebune, he led the relaunching of the High-Level Joint Commission, in order to work in various productive areas and consolidate bilateral strategic relations between the two nations.

While in Iran, along with his counterpart, President Ebrahim Raisi, were signed agreements in the agricultural area and for food production, which are part of the strategic map for the next 20 years between Iran and Venezuela.

Within this context, was ratified the activation, as of July 18, of the direct flight between Caracas and Tehran, an action that will result in the growth of tourism between both nations.

And in economic matters, Venezuela received the second Yoraco oil tanker with the capacity to transport 800,000 barrels of oil, manufactured by the Iranian Sadra company. This is the second of four Aframax type vessels agreed between Venezuela and Iran, for the strengthening of the national oil industry. Maduro announced that the third of the ships, currently under construction, will be delivered next 2023 and the fourth of the agreement will arrive in the country in 2024.

President Nicolás Maduro recalled that the work agenda continues and invited the Venezuelan people to be aware of the development of these activities, which are part of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace and the desire of Venezuela to promote the multipolar and multicentric world that ensures the peace and progress of humanity.
