The National Assembly authorized this Tuesday, in an ordinary session, the trip of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to make a tour of Eurasian countries.
After reading a letter addressed by the National President, the president of parliament put to a vote the petition made by the head of state, which was approved by a majority, in compliance with articles 235 and 187, numeral 17, of the Bolivarian Constitution.
In the letter, President Maduro stated that the objective of the tour is to vindicate the highest interests of the country, in favor of the Venezuelan people, as well as deepen cooperation agreements in areas such as science and technology, agriculture, transportation, tourism and culture, and energy.
