@NicolasMaduro

Good morning, Venezuelan people and the world that follows me on social networks! I invite you to be attentive to the agenda of international activities that we will have in the next few hours. It will be of interest and geopolitical importance.”

It is worth remembering that Venezuela is the victim of a multiform aggression by great powers, such as the government of the United States and Europe, through unilateral coercive measures, which seek to negatively impact the daily life of the Venezuelan people.

Said aggressions include blockade, theft of assets and actions in general against the economy and politics, with unilateral sanctions, even exclusions from international events such as the Summit of the Americas.

However, governments and peoples of the world and the region maintain a position of respect for dignity and sovereignty, such as those of Mexico, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Cuba, which have repeatedly ratified their rejection of these actions that they seek to undermine the peace of the Venezuelan homeland.

This Monday, the head of state highlighted the relevance of this international agenda and the Bolivarian peace diplomacy amidst the hegemonic actions and policies of imposing coercive actions by the administration of the United States (USA).

He likewise reiterated the repudiation of the exclusion of Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba from the 9th Summit of the Americas taking place in Los Angeles, USA.

In this regard, President Maduro called for convening a summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), of the utmost interest to the peoples of America, where US President Joe Biden will attend as a guest:

It will have to be CELAC, President Alberto Fernández, it will have to be the Community of Latin American States that convenes with an agenda of prioritized issues and of maximum interest to our people, where the 33 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean will go, and where President Joe Biden will be invited”, he said.
