President Maduro arrives in Cuba to participate in the 21st ALBA-TCP Summit

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, arrived on the island of Cuba this Thursday night to participate in the 21st Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP ).

Earlier, the general director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, welcomed Sacha Llorenti, executive secretary of ALBA-TCP, and other ambassadors from the Latin brotherly countries.

The Vice Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela also arrived on the island to participate in the 21st Integration Summit, the Cuban Foreign Ministry reported on the Twitter social network.

The 21st Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), will meet in Havana this Friday, May 27.

The nations that make up the Alliance will share common development strategies and will analyze the regional political situation, reported a press release published in Cubaminrex.
