Venezuela demands participation of Álex Saab in any new dialogue initiative

Jorge Rodríguez Gómez, in his capacity as plenipotentiary representative of the Bolivarian government delegation in the dialogue processes, announced through his social networks that he held a meeting with opposition representative Gerardo Blyde “to seek action formulas for the future”.

The photo of the diplomat Álex Saab, kidnapped 704 days ago, opens the thread on the Twitter social network, where Rodríguez breaks down the position of the Venezuelan government regarding new possibilities for dialogue:

In my capacity as representative of the delegation of the Bolivarian government of Venezuela for the dialogue processes, I have held a meeting with Dr. Gerardo Blyde to seek action formulas for the future”

The also president of the National Assembly stressed that for the Bolivarian representation the development of social issues is of vital importance and recalled that diplomat Aléx Saab is a full member of the delegation.

Rodríguez was emphatic in pointing out that Venezuela demands the participation of diplomat Saab in any work initiative that is eventually agreed upon. The kidnapped diplomat is a permanent representative of the government in the Dialogue Table that took place in Mexico with the Venezuelan opposition, thanks to the facilitation of the Kingdom of Norway and the accompaniment of the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

In reply to @jorgerpsuv

We have insisted on the crucial importance of the development of social issues that are of the main interest of our people. Our brother Alex Saab, kidnapped for 704 days, is a full member of the Venezuelan delegation and is our delegate…”
