Judge Gladys Gutiérrez was appointed as new president of TSJ

Judge Gladys Gutiérrez was unanimously elected as president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), as reported the official on April 27 in statements issued to the media, from the headquarters of the highest court in Caracas.

As first vice president of the TSJ was appointed Edgar Gavidia, and Henry Timaure as second vice president:

We have different challenges, but we will tackle them with determination, the task entrusted to us is not exhausted only in the jurisdictional area, we also have functions of Government, direction and administration of the Judicial Power and we attend to this with the support of the auxiliary bodies of the Justice System » Gutierrez said.

She stressed that they will strive to “renew the structure and processes to raise the levels of effectiveness and efficiency to guarantee effective judicial protection.”

Constitutional Chamber:

President: Gladys Gutierrez.

Administrative Political Chamber:
