The Constitutional President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro announced this Monday the reactivation of the dialogue with all the factors of national life “in a more inclusive, comprehensive and broad» process.
The national president led on Monday night at Miraflores Palace, an extended meeting with the participation of the Council of Vice Presidents, the Military High Command and the members of the Political High Command, a session after which he announced “the reactivation with force, of the process of dialogue with all sectors of national life (…) we are going to an immediate ‘reformatting’ of the process of national dialogue, more inclusive, comprehensive and broad”.
In this regard, he assured that this decision is part of the set of actions evaluated by this expanded council «to attend to and protect the people comprehensively» in the face of future scenarios that may arise from the current situation and development of events and the international geopolitical reality.
«Everything depends on our effort, never, nobody, is going to give us anything, everything will depend on the effort and the national union,» said Maduro.
Positive agenda between Venezuela and the US:
In this context, the Head of State confirmed that he held a «respectful, cordial and very diplomatic» meeting between an official delegation from the US Government and the Venezuelan government:
“Last Saturday a delegation from the US government arrived in Venezuela, I received them here in Miraflores. It was a respectful, cordial and diplomatic meeting”, he expressed.
He announced that after said meeting, both delegations agreed “to work forward on an agenda, on topics of maximum interest. I ratify all our will to move forward and achieve peace in the hemisphere, we will work on a positive agenda between the US government and Venezuela”, he emphasized.
In this effort for regional and planetary stability, he reiterated that «Venezuela is prepared to grow (to) one, two and even three million barrels, if necessary, to support the stability of the World: everything for Peace, all for Peace, with the people and all for the people”.
Finally, he authorized the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez – a participant in this meeting with the US delegation – to offer details to public opinion, in the next few hours, about the agreements reached in said meeting.
