This Monday, the “Jorge Luis García Carneiro” Social Missions Base was inaugurated in La Guaira, in order to serve more than a thousand families from the Macuto parish of the entity.
The inauguration was led by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who highlighted the name chosen for the Missions Base, and especially on the historical date that is being remembered, such as April 11:
“We came to inaugurate this Mission Base that bears the name of Jorge Luis García Carneiro, precisely today marks the 20th anniversary of that fateful day when Venezuelan fascism and extremism tried to erase popular sovereignty from our history, dealt a blow to democracy, participation and tried to remove our Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez from power”, said Rodríguez in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
