Unes arrived at its 13th anniversary with more than 54,000 students throughout the country

This Wednesday was held in the city of Caracas the commemorative act for the 13th anniversary of the National Experimental Security University (Unes), chaired by the Sectoral Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, in company of the rector of the house of studies G/D Giuseppe Cacioppo and other authorities of this Alma Mater.

Sectoral Vice President Ceballos Ichaso explained that as of today, the aforementioned House of Studies has a total of 54,000 students throughout the national territory; In addition, a body of teachers dedicated to work and training in all these years, “an unprecedented creation of our Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez and promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, turning this institution in terms of Citizen Security into an example to the world.”

He explained that the training areas at the University will continue to be developed, “Today it has various training programs in its 39 nuclei, as well as different specialties in police matters, firefighters, civil protection, criminal investigation, we are even advancing in penitentiary matters”, said the Admiral in Chief.

Likewise, he reported that there is a strong force of more than 109,000 police officers, “we will continue to advance with their education, training and discipline, emphasizing the importance of the development of the person, guaranteeing dignity as established by the Constitution of Venezuela promoting the development and strengthening of all citizen security bodies, strengthening the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), state and municipal police, increasing the capacity of their actions, protecting, defending and serving the people”.

A/J Ceballos Ichaso took advantage of the occasion to extend his congratulations to the entire National Experimental University of Security, teachers from the different states of the national territory, for the hard work of bringing the police service to excellence, “we will continue working to strengthen it”.

During the ceremony, 524 acknowledgments were awarded to the men and women who live in this Alma Mater, 105 corresponding to 5 years of service and 419 for 10 years of work, betting on the well-being of the country despite the blockades, coercive measures, contributing to the training of students and young people who will be police officers.
