Cabello: The US and the EU are wrong if they think we are going to capitulate

From the Principal Theatre in Caracas, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed on Wednesday that the United States and the European Union “are wrong to believe that we are desperate to capitulate”.

They believe that we are desperate to capitulate, that we want to give up and they are the good ones who open the doors for us (…) that does not exist, we do not want to capitulate nor have we raised it at any time”, said Cabello, referring to a statement about the alleged lifting of sanctions on Venezuela by countries that lack any legitimacy.

In that sense, he stressed that those who sign said statement, “are governments servile to the US, lackeys to the US, and they know they can say whatever they want, but we don’t care whatever imperialism says, nor do we really care what these people may say”.

He recalled that the dialogue in Mexico was not paralyzed because of Venezuela. At the same time, he assured that the United States and Europe have no right to set an example to the world: “what we ask for is that they do not interfere in our internal affairs (…) they have enough problems in their countries already”.
