President Maduro urges youth to build Venezuela’s new economic model

President Nicolás Maduro presented this Thursday a Balance of the Great Mission Chamba Juvenil (Youth Job), a journey during which he exhorted the youth of the country to build and consolidate the new economic model of Venezuela:

“We are in the very center of the historical birth of a new productive economic model and that must be in the hands of the Venezuelan youth, away from oil income,” said the Head of State, insisting on the need to advance in the development of the new paths of productive growth of the Nation.

“We are in a time of entrepreneurs, and a youth made of entrepreneur men and women”, he said.

Throughout the event he stressed that together with the Minister of People’s Power for Sports, Mervin Maldonado, he has been reviewing the plans to support youth in the country.

In this sense, he directed that all economic support be used to boost national production through socio-productive projects.

He assured that there must be built an economy that generates new sources of wealth other than oil, and affirmed that Venezuela will recover all its petrochemical industry and oil capacity, but without depending on it.

In several direct contacts, the national president met first-hand different youth ventures developed as part of the Chamba Juvenil Mission, one of them that of the “Gigante de América Hugo Chávez Frías” Commune, located in the Tocuyito parish, whose members received biofinancing, inputs and tools for the development of its activities.

During the activity was also announced the activation of the 0800-JUVENIL toll-free phone line, under the Great Mission Chamba Juvenil to channel training and support programs for the Training and Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship.

This space has 30 telephone lines to provide advice on creating graphic packages for youth entrepreneurs, recording content to promote Social Networks, spaces for influencers and brand positioning, advice for legal procedures, digital economy and post-pandemic finance and recording podcast and streaming spaces.
