Venezuela ratifies commitment to agree on energy access policies

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratified its commitment to agree on integral policies of access to energy.

This was expressed by the Sectoral Vice President for Economy, Tareck El Aissami, during his participation in the High-Level Dialogue on Energy, convened by the United Nations.

El Aissami considered being of a great importance “to agree on an integral policy in the strategic vision of the energy transition, as a flag of the human cause that generates a collective impact on social welfare”.

The Sectoral Vice President for Economy denounced before the multilateral organization the application of unilateral financial coercive measures by the United States and its allies against Venezuela, because they violate international conventions, agreements and plans.
