President Nicolás Maduro assured that in 2021 the path to economic growth will be consolidated

During a new Productive Wednesday journey, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that this 2021 will be consolidatedthe path for the economic growth of the country: “We have many things to improve, but we are on the right path. The real Venezuela is the one that produces, the one that dreams of prosperity”, he said.

From Miraflores Palace, the national president evaluated the results of the Higher Council of Productive Economy, an initiative that articulates appropriate and sustainable solutions, adapted to the situation of the Venezuelan economy.

In this context, the Head of State assured that the objective is to ensure that “the circuit of the production chain is 100% Venezuelan” to produce everything in Venezuela and meet the needs of the people.

For this reason, he highlighted the participation of the associations of small, medium and large producers of the country in the Higher Council of Productive Economy, which in the opinion of President Maduro will allow to advance in a sustainable way to produce in Venezuela: “That is the main objective of the permanent dialogue with the business sector”, he explained.

Likewise, he assured that the National Executive will guarantee support so that producers have access to raw materials, “that is possible in a healthy economy, we have to keep our microphones and ears open to listen to producers”.

For this, Vice Minister of Productive Economy, Ricardo Javier Sánchez, reported that the Superior Council has installed 13 work tables with the participation of the associations of small, medium and large producers in the country, spaces that will allow identifying the elements that make up each productive sector to give an integral vision that allows to untie critical knots in its processes.

The dialogue mechanism within the Superior Council has made it possible to integrate important sectors of national life, State institutions and members of Fedecámaras, Conindustria, Fedeindustria and various associations of the country’s productive sectors:

“Many productive sectors have participated in the Council, however that of coffee, sugar, cocoa and cold meats has been one of the fundamental ones”, he stressed.

He said that the coffee sector was another of those that was present at the work tables, where the denomination of origin was worked out and the production chain was agreed as a fundamental factor of the national economy.

For his part, the Minister of People’s Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture (Minpesca), Juan Luis Laya, stressed, “We have the main companies in the country working to produce our own, all the cans of sardines that the Clap brings out are being produced in Venezuela with the purpose of strengthening the Made in Venezuela label”, he said.

Other sectors were also present in the activity, such as Calzapymi, cleaning product companies, rubber producers, paste and oil companies.
