President Maduro condemned assassination in Haiti

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, expressed his regret and sincere condolences to the people and government of the Republic of Haiti, after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, which occurred in the early morning of this Wednesday, July 7.

Through a communiqué, the Venezuelan Head of State expressed his strongest repudiation and rejection of this terrible murder, while sending his feelings of strength and solidarity to the Haitian people.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, makes a call for calm, dialogue, understanding and peace to the institutions and to the brotherly people of Haiti.

Venezuela will always be at the service of Haiti, insofar as it can contribute to the stability and tranquility of a people so dear and close, always in strict respect of its sovereignty and integrity.
