President Maduro: I congratulate the fathers who lead their children with their highest example

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated all the fathers on their day this Sunday.

This Sunday, June 20, the national president honored the role of the fathers in guiding their children and urged the fathers of the country to assume with greater commitment their figure as guarantors of the construction of the new homeland.

Through his account on the Twitter social network, @NicolasMaduro, the head of state expressed: “I congratulate the fathers who are in charge of leading by example, of training with the highest principles and protecting their sons and daughters. Let us assume with more love and a greater commitment, our role as guarantors of the construction of the New Homeland”.

In a second message, the Head of State shared a Corazón Llanero music video dedicated to the fathers of Venezuela and the world:

Congratulations on this special day to the grandfathers, and to all the men who have had the joy of being a father. God bless you always!”, Added the President.

In various countries in America, Europe and some in Africa and Asia, Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June for the American celebration that began in 1909, when a woman named Sonora Smart Dodd proposed to acknowledge the work of fathers in the families, as reports the El Comercio newspaper, on its website.
