The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on all carriers in the country to respect the student fare and ordered to evaluate the methodologies to guarantee this right of the country’s students.
“I call on the transporters, let’s respect the most valuable thing that you have, which is your children, the one who mistreats the boys gets in disgrace… My brother transporters do not respect the student passage, we must summon the Ministers in charge to deal with the issue of grants and seek for a solution in order to respecting the fares”, said the Head of State.
He entrusted the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, the Minister of People’s Power for Transport, Hipólito Abreu and the Minister of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, José Márquez, to hold a meeting this Wednesday with the transportation sector to achieve a solution to the problem presented by the young people present at the Meeting with High School students.
