Yesterday we officially consigned before the International Criminal Court the book “The Art of Sanctions” and the article “Evaluating the Approach to Sanctions of the Trump Administration: Venezuela”, both by @RichardMNephew, Obama and Biden’s adviser for the imposition of sanctions.”

This was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, who explained that both texts are from Richard M. Nephew, adviser to Barack Obama and Joe Biden, for the imposition of sanctions.

“The conclusions of both publications demonstrate the criminal nature of the unilateral coercive measures, whose purpose, as the author confesses, is to generate pain,” explained the Chancellor.

Nephew praises Trump’s administration for its policy of sanctions against Venezuela, but acknowledges that they did not brought any results.

It is important to remember that International Law does not protect unilateral acts that generate death and pain, concluded Jorge Arreaza.
