This Sunday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved a series of recommendations made by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, in order to cut the chains of contagion of the Coronavirus, before the presence of the new variant P1 and P2 in our country.
In this sense, the Head of State announced these measures, among which are:
- – 14 days of radical, voluntary and conscious quarantine for the health of the family and our people. Starting this Monday, March 22 until April 4 (including the days of Easter).
- – To minimize unnecessary mobility.
- – To avoid the concentration of people and banking activities.
- – To activate Community Prevention Brigades and develop an awareness campaign
- – To spatially locate positive cases of COVID-19 on maps by Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC)
- – Surveillance of compliance with voluntary, radical and conscious quarantine with reduction
- – Put the sanitary filters
- – To disinfect areas of active spots
- – to strictly and efficiently sanitize public transport vehicles
- – To guarantee comprehensive care, protection and monitoring of all suspected and positive cases.
- – Go to the search for the contact chain of the contagions.
- Increase attention span
- – To prioritize immunization against COVID-19 to risk groups in the entities
- – To acknowledge health workers and political teams in the communities for their work to prevent and control the pandemic.
