Head of State proposes to work on the Organic Law of Community Governments

The Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro, proposed to work on an Organic Law of Community Governments, to take advantage of the spaces of peace quadrants, to promote and nationalize this form of popular government throughout the territory.

“It seems to me a good idea to start discussing it, working on it and consulting it, within the framework of the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples and thus a great consultation and debate takes place (…) It is a wonderful idea,” he said.

This Sunday, during the Anniversary ceremony of the creation of the Community Governments of Miranda state, held in the Miraflores Palace, President Maduro recalled that it has been one year since the launch of the community governments of Miranda state, which has the objective for each municipality to create a formula to give power to the people and build the government of People’s Power.

As part of the balance of the community governments, to know what they are doing, where they are and what they have achieved and how they are going to promote in Miranda state, in the next four years, the community governments as the main government, battle and construction in this entity, the governor of the entity, Héctor Rodríguez indicated that there are already 361 community governments that have risen.

Likewise, Rodríguez reported that they have managed to articulate municipal, regional and national governments. “The people have achieved the space for articulation of the three levels of government.”

In this sense, it has managed to territorialize the government, that is, “to make a presence in the community, in spaces such as the Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), the educational circuits built by the educational policy, the Peace Quadrants and the people in the communal space ”.

To conclude, the governor of Miranda stated that for each quadrant of Peace a community government is feasible, on which the National President raised his complete agreement, with respect to community governments that have also allowed to reduce insecurity rates.
