President Maduro: “Venezuela won the fight against Donald Trump”

This Saturday, the Venezuelan people gathered in front of the people’s balcony next to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, Moros, where he expressed that “Venezuela has triumphed against the coup, we won the fight against Donald Trump. Victory!”.

Similarly, he stressed, during the commemoration of the 63rd anniversary (of January 23, 1958, date of the overthrowing of Marcos Pérez Jimenez’s dictatorship), on the defeat of the self-proclaimed by the US terrorist government, who swore himself in, precisely, in a public square on January 23, 2 years ago, in 2019.

“Welcome comrade men and women, the people united will never be defeated. Always united, it is the basis of the present, of the future and it has been the basis of our victories every year of these stormy years of resistance, of intense battle for our Homeland”, said the Head of State.

Likewise, he asserted that, precisely from this historic balcony of the People of Commander Chávez, he himself promised on January 23, two years ago, that they would defeat this interventionist attempt of imperial terrorism:

“When that outgoing terrorist and supremacist US Government had announced the self-proclamation of a puppet president in Venezuela; the world was stunned when in a public square a puppet of the imperialist and supremacist government of Donald Trump proclaimed himself as ‘interim president’,” he said, recalling that on that day the Venezuelan people took to the streets to demand respect and gathered in Miraflores to support the Constitutional President:

“That day, the people with their love took to the streets by thousands…and the popular victory was achieved, I knew it was going to be difficult and hard, but it was the perfect civic-military-police union”.

Likewise, the Dignitary offered honors to the military and civilian revolutionary leaders of the generation of 1958, who courageously and bravely faced the dictatorship, among them Hugo Trejo and Fabricio Ojeda.

“I don’t know if the doofus criminal wants to remember January 23, I think he does not, the criminal puppet, fugitive from justice, would like them to erase the date of January 23 so as not to remember his clowning, the defeat inflicted on him by the standing Bolivarian people. We do want to have memory and we do want to remember!”.

Regarding the organization of this activity, the Venezuelan President highlighted that “Today you have convened yourselves for this event at the Miraflores Presidential Palace, the place where 63 years ago (the people) was betrayed by the oligarchies and leaders of the time”.

Likewise, he asked to take care in times of pandemic, while he also requested to be always mobilized, on alert, as the revolutionary people have always been in the streets of Venezuela.

At the People’s Balcony, the Head of State was accompanied by the First Combatant woman and Deputy of the National Assembly, Cilia Flores; the Executive Vice-President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the Sectoral Vice-President of Economy, Minister of People’s Power for Industries and National Production and Head of the Petroleum Office, Tareck El Aissami; the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the head of the Homeland Bloc, Diosdado Cabello; Deputy Rodbexa Poleo and the Mayor of Caracas, Erika Farías.
