Venezuela rejects sanctions to Chinese CEIEC company by the United States

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Monday repudiated the legal actions and coercive measures against the company CEIEC of China, by the government of the United States.

Through a statement published on the website of the Ministry for Foreign Relations, Venezuela asserted that these actions would affect the projects to be developed in the country, to guarantee the attention of the Venezuelan services and on the eve of the parliamentary elections.

The electoral process in Venezuela will take place next Sunday, where more than 20 million people are summoned to elect the 277 new deputies of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term.

However, the US government has promoted a campaign of discredit – supported by the Venezuelan right wing – to stop the electoral process, established in the Constitution.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela once again denounces to the international community the illegal sanctions by the Government of the United States of America in its incessant obsession to destabilize Venezuelan society, precisely on the eve of the upcoming parliamentary elections process, by imposing measures arbitrary coercive actions against the Chinese technology company CEIEC, thereby seeking to affect projects for the welfare of Venezuelans.

The ruling elite of Washington, which takes such pride in defending freedom of press and free trade, today attacks international companies that provide services to the Venezuelan State, with the inhumane objective of isolating the country and creating difficulties for the Venezuelan population.

Despite these attempts to generate anxiety and to undermine the operation of public institutions through different variants of blockade and persecution, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will continue to demonstrate that it will not be intimidated by any action, however perverse it may be. , and you will know how to fulfill your responsibilities in any scenario.

No desperate measure by a frustrated and agonizing government will prevent the people of Venezuela from teaching the world a new lesson on December 6, strengthening their democratic institutions and thus safeguarding their independence and unshakable sovereignty.”
