The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Sunday that from Monday, August 31, the country will enter a radical quarantine for seven days, according to the 7 + 7 journey:
“7 days of collective, conscious and radical social quarantine, we go together and united in the Venezuelan method”, said the Head of State.
This Sunday the Presidential Commission met evaluating the 7 days of flexibilization that culminate, during which the economic sectors had biosafety care for the people and the working class.
The Commission was chaired by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez and members of the Team of Ministers, and offered the balance of Covid-19 corresponding to this Sunday.
On the jouenry were reported 922 positive infections and 6 deaths; 825 of the cases are community-transmitted, and 97 cases are imported.
The 7 days of radical, conscious, social, voluntary quarantine are also alternated with 7 days of flexibilization, a method adopted by the Venezuelan Government to cut the chains of contagion.
