Indigenous organizations of Zulia state nominated on Thursday their candidates for the parliamentary elections of December 6.

The information was released by the rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Tania D ’Amelio, through a publication on the Twitter social network, together with a group of graphs corresponding to the Zulia region.

She explained that, in compliance with the schedule, the original organizations applied and then presented the collections before the regional board.

The registration process is carried out in the first instance through the Automated Application System (SAP).

According to the CNE, 277 deputies will be elected to the National Assembly (AN); 48 per national list; 96 regional, 130 nominal and three indigenous.

The election of the indigenous representation establishes that, it will be nominal and by means of election by relative majority of votes.

It must be carried out in assemblies in compliance with their uses, traditions and customs, as refers the Special Regulation approved by the electoral body.

The electoral districts of the indigenous representation are made up of three regions: west, south and east.

These regions span the states of Zulia; Merida; Trujillo; Amazon; Apure; Anzoátegui; Bolivar; Delta Amacuro; Monagas and Sucre.
