The campaign of aggression and manipulation that is directed against Venezuela under the auspices of the United States government, has fueled the nationalist and patriotic spirit of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), a component of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) that this Tuesday commemorated the 83rd anniversary of its creation.
This affirmation corresponds to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who highlighted the irreducible commitment of those who offer their own lives in the service of defending territorial integrity.
By awarding decorations to military personnel who participated in the combat of terrorist groups in the states of Bolívar and La Guaira, he declared that no seditious maneuver will reduce efforts to preserve the security of the Venezuelan people:
“There will be nothing that intimidates me or the people, there will be nothing that can defeat us. My commitment to you is total, absolute”, he emphasized in addressing the 308 officers who make up the GNB parade group arranged in the Court of Honor of the Military Academy, located in Caracas.
Attack against peace:
In the company of the Military High Command, the Dignitary evoked that two years ago foreign agents attempted against the national peace by trying to extinguish his life in an attack with remote manned aircraft.
“Two years ago we were reborn. Imperialism has done everything to finish us off, but we have the strength of the people, the historical strength of the Liberators”, he stressed.
