Venezuelan Consulate in Bogotá is looted and vandalized in violation of Vienna Conventions

The chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Jorge Arreaza, denounced this Monday the flagrant looting and vandalization of the headquarters of the Venezuelan consulate located in the Colombian capital, Bogotá.

In this sense, he highlighted the following through his account on the Twitter social network, @jaarreaza: “We denounce

that the headquarters of the Venezuelan Consulate in Bogotá have been completely vandalized and looted”, said Jorge Arreaza.

He also added that “the Colombian authorities left it without protection, violating the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic and Consular Relations. The Colombian State must respond”, emphasized the Bolivarian Chancellor.

It should be noted that this Monday morning, officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) of Venezuela, dismantled two camps for drug processing and seized 9,173 kilograms of cocaine at only 900 meters from the border with Colombia, as reported the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Néstor Reverol.
