Venezuela registers almost 7,000 Covid-19 recovered patients

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Tuesday that a total of 6,983 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the country.

He indicated that this figure of recoveries represents a 55% of the 12,774 cases registered in the country, since the first contagions were reported on March 13.

In this regard, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, called on all recovered patients in the country to donate their convalescent plasma in order to treat those who are infected.

On the other hand, the head of state in this Tuesday’s report referred that 4,600 people are hospitalized, of which 911 are treated at Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI) and 94 at private clinics.

Of these figures, 98.3% are confined in the public health system, and 1.6% in the private sector, as explained Maduro.

Until this Tuesday, Venezuela continues with 5,671 Covid-19 positive patients, and 120 deceased.
