This Friday arrives to Venezuela humanitarian aid from Turkey

This Friday will arrive in Venezuela a plane coming from Turkey loaded with humanitarian aid in order to attend to patients with the Covid-19 coronavirus, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro, on Tuesday.

The Venezuelan head of state indicated that this plane brings a shipment of ventilators, PCR tests, biosafety suits, in order to strengthen the health system to care for patients.

Since the first Covid-19 positive cases were detected, Venezuela has received the solidarity and humanitarian aid from several countries in the world including Russia, China, and Cuba, to be able to attend to the situation of the pandemic.

Similarly, it has received technical and humanitarian aid from Iran, the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The last shipment of humanitarian aid that arrived in the country was registered on June 29, and was coming from Russia and China.
