Great Mission Homes of the Homeland serves 6,200,000 families

The Great Mission Hogares de la Patria (Homes of the Homeland) – which celebrates its sixth anniversary this Thursday – serves 6,200,000 Venezuelan families, said the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

The Venezuelan head of state explained that through this social program, is implemented a policy to protect Venezuelan families:

«We are on the sixth anniversary of the Great Mission Hogares de la Patria. We started six years ago, it seems that it was yesterday when we started with 100,000 experimental homes and today we have reached 6,200,000 homes”, stressed the first National President from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.

“With the care to more than six million households, this program – said the Venezuelan president – promoted the creation of 74,000 committees, which serve between 10 and 15 families per committee”.

In this regard, President Nicolás Maduro said that “our country resists because there is a truly organized people’s power”, he said.

“The people’s power in charge of each plan, of each program, to attend to the things of the people, a contingency that is presented to us is attended to as a team immediately. The main objective of the National Executive is to carry out the historical Missions”, said Commander in Chief Nicolás Maduro.
