Chancellor Arreaza: US had indirect participation in mercenary plan against Venezuela

Venezuelan Chancellor Jorge Arreaza manifested on Thursday that the United States Government had “indirect participation” in the mercenary plan carried out on the coasts of La Guaira state and Chuao (Aragua state), which was intended to generate violence in the country and develop in a coup d’etat against the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro.

The statements published through the Twitter social network refer to the denial made by members of the Trump Administration of “not having had direct participation” in this operation.

“@SecPompeo: «as I think the Defense Sec said, or perhaps it was the Chief of the High Command and the President as well, there was no direct participation of the US government in this operation» … That is, there was indirect participation. The world must react to the barbarism of the United States”, reviews the publication.

Last Sunday at dawn hours, on the coast of La Guaira state, the Bolivian National Armed Forces (Fanb) and the Special Actions Forces of the Bolivarian National Police (Faes) neutralized a terrorist paramilitary incursion from Colombia with support from the governments of the Neogranadean country (Colombia) and the United States (USA).

The incursion was a mercenary action with the presence of agents from the Administration for Drug Control (DEA) and drug trafficking, linked to the Venezuelan opposition extremism, with the intention of overthrowing President Maduro.

President Nicolás Maduro pointed out that these plans are endorsed by the governments of the United States and Colombia and regretted that in the latter the justice system does not inquire about how Iván Duque, through the army and the Directorate of National Intelligence, ordered to support these groups in their training in three camps and their stay in Riohacha, north of the neighboring country, as well as in the Alta Guajira, for their entry into Venezuela.

Likewise, President Maduro revealed that “the conversations between Iván Duque and Donald Trump, President of the United States, are included in the classified documents, and if the United States Congressmen requested the recordings of those conversations and the notes there are, they would know that the only issue they dealt with was the incursion.
