The National Superintendence of Crypto-assets and Related Activities (Sunacrip) was activated this weekend in different states of the country to publicize the technological advances, achievements and usability of Petro sovereign crypto-asset. both in Venezuela and worldwide.
The first activity took place in the amphitheater of the Falcon state Governorate, in the city of Coro, an activity coordinated by the Superintendent’s Digital Mining Mayor, Rajiv Mosqueda, which brought together 21 mayors of Falcon state; the secretary of Government, Sergio Quintero, and Edgard Ramos, director of the Association of Mayors of Falcon state.
During the meeting were presented the advances of Petro, as the vanguard of the new digital economy that replaces the traditional financial model, to transcend the economic and technological sovereignty of the nation.
In the activity, the public servants of the Sunacrip activated the PetroApp of the mayorships, as well as the juridical wallets of all municipalities of the country.
Similar activities were carried out in Lara, Táchira, Miranda, Nueva Esparta, Aragua, Barinas, Anzoátegui, Portuguesa, Guárico, Zulia, Mérida, Bolívar, Monagas, Sucre, Yaracuy, Carabobo and Delta Amacuro states.
The objective of this initiative is to comply with the guidelines issued by the president, Nicolás Maduro, to incorporate the mayors to the Petro ecosystem, in addition to publicizing each of the steps to register the PetroApp, as well as other applications developed by Sunacrip to massify the usability of digital cryptocurrency in everyday business transactions.
